Teenage crime

Nowadays, there are many families that are poor and don‘t live their best life.
Parents of these familes can drink or use drugs, because of their bad position and
future. As a consequence, that depends on parenting for their kids. So there are
several reasons why teenagers become young criminals.

Firstly, teenagers start committing crimes, because of their peer pressure. They
think, that being a criminal is cool and you get respect for this. But what you only
get for this is a prison term or a house arrest. For example, if kids bored being at
home and want to hang out with their friends, they have no other choice just join to
do the crimes or they will fall out with friends and can get hurt too.

Secondly, other teenagers aren‘t treated well by their parents. So they start to
shoplift random things and food. Also if there was a gang of teenagers, they would
get into armed robbery. For instance, parents work too much in order to make a
living, and kids at home don‘t have other activities and their friends persuades them
to join breaking laws.

In addition, in most cities there are a lot of acts of vandalism. Vandals spray graffiti
on buildings and signs, so other gang members and people know the names of gang
who controll the area. Also people are frightened of gang violence, because of knife
crimes, mugging and robbing.

While the young criminals are destroying culture outside, the same things are
happening at schools. There are teenagers who do not want to learn and study.
School is impossible for these parents, who struggle to pay for their children best
education. In classrooms there is constant misbehaviour and disrespect for teachers.

All in all, the reason why teenagers become young offenders, because they are
destitute by life or encourage by their criminal friends. For example, they get no
attention enough from their parents or don‘t have them at all. And their friends
could say them, that committing crimes is fair.
