-Next, let’s have some fun. Normally, the school would have field day this week. Since we are not at
school, we can do some fun activities at home just like field day!! Let’s try Speed Tic Tac Toe. Here is a
video to show you how to play. The rules are also below. The video has been uploaded with this
assignment post. You can also use this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S4R470sHrs

 Play with someone else to be your opponent. Make a starting line where you and your
opponent start.
 At that starting line you need 3 small objects that are the same. Your partner also needs 3, but
of a different color or a completely different object. That way you will know whose they are. You
could use things like marbles or crumbled up paper.
 You need 9 bowls to use as a Tic Tac Toe grid. Set up your Tic Tac Toe grid at least 15 feet away
from your starting line.
 The game is played like regular Tic Tac Toe, 3 in a row wins!
 On “GO” both people run to the grid with one of their objects.
 Place one of your objects in one of the bowls in the grid. You cannot put your object in the same
bowl as your opponent’s object.
 Run back to the start line and pick up another one of your items to place in a different bowl.
 If you have not won after you place all 3 of your objects, you can run back to the start line, then
back to the grid to pick up one of your pieces out of a grid bowl and put it in a new bowl.
 Keep doing this until someone wins. Remember you must run back to the start before you can
go back and move one of your pieces.
 Don’t forget to use your pieces to block their moves before they win.
 Play 5 or more times with a partner and see how many you can win. If more people want to
play, take turns.

-Now let’s keep the fun going with a Cornhole activity. Here is a video to help demonstrate how to play.
The rules are also below. The video has been uploaded with this assignment. You can also use this link.

 You can play by yourself but it might be more fun if you have a partner.
 If you have a corn hole set, awesome! If you don’t you will need 2 buckets or boxes, and 6 bean
bags or pairs of rolled up socks. 3 of the same color for one person and 3 of a different color for
your opponent.
 Set apart the buckets directly in front of each other. You can pick the distance. Cornhole is
usually 27 feet apart.
 Rock, paper, scissors, to decide who goes first. Both players start at one of the buckets facing
the other. The person who goes first underhand tosses their 3 bean bags or socks at the bucket
one at a time.
 Remember an underhand toss is: Step with opposite foot towards your target, swing your
dominant arm back which is holding the bean bag, and toss the bean bag towards your target.
 Once that player is done, the other player now goes.
 Here is how you score:
o If a bean bag goes in the target, it’s 3 points.
o If a bean bag is sitting on the target, it’s 2 points.
o If a bean bag is just touching the target, it’s 1 point.
 Now players go the other bucket and throw back the other way.
 Keep going until some gets to 21 points. You can also play to 11 if the game is challenging for
you and your partner.
 Play at least two games with your partner.
 If more people want to play, take turns or you can play with 4 people. Get into teams of two.
One partner at one bucket, the other partner at the other. The other team does the same thing.
You now stay at the same bucket and throw to the one your partner is at. Then they throw back
to your bucket. It’s the same for the other team.

-Next, let’s do some Jedi Knight battles. Here is a video to demonstrate the activity. The rules are also
below. The video has been uploaded with the assignment. You can also use this link:

 You will need a partner. However, a group of people will make it more fun.
 Each person playing needs half of a pool noodle to be the light saber. You could also get creative
and use something soft to play.
 Set up a safe area with boundaries to the be Jedi arena. Players stay in the boundaries.
 On “Go” you try to tag others at waist height or below. If it’s above it doesn’t count.
 Players can block with their light saber. Players can also jump, dodge, twist, or turn while staying
in the boundaries.
 When a person is tagged, they go out of bounds and do the exercise you all agree on. Examples
are 10 jumping jacks, 10 jills, or hops on one foot.
 After they have completed the exercises, they are back in.
 Play that version at least 3 times for at least 2 minutes each round.
 If you have at least 4 players, you can also play where if you get tagged you stay out to see who
the final Jedi is.

-Finish and celebrate the end of the school year by following the moves to this Just Dance video. The
