-Next let’s have some fun. Normally, the school would have field day this week. Since we are not at
school, we can do some fun activities at home just like field day!! Let’s try Speed Tic Tac Toe. Here is a
video to show you how to play. The rules are also below. The video has been uploaded with this
assignment post. You can also use this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S4R470sHrs

 Play with someone else to be your opponent. Make a starting line where you and your
opponent start.
 At that starting line you need 3 small objects that are the same. Your partner also needs 3 but of
a different color or a completely different object. That way you will know whose they are. You
could use things like marbles or crumbled up paper.
 You need 9 bowls to use as a Tic Tac Toe grid. Set up your Tic Tac Toe grid at least 15 feet away
from your starting line.
 The game is played like regular Tic Tac Toe, 3 in a row wins!
 On “GO” both people run to the grid with one of their objects.
 Place one of your objects in one of the bowls in the grid. You cannot put your object in the same
bowl as your opponent’s object.
 Run back to the start line and pick up another one of your items to place in a different bowl.
 If you have not won after you place all 3 of your objects, you can run back to the start line, then
back to the grid to pick up one of your pieces out of a grid bowl and put it in a new bowl.
 Keep doing this until someone wins. Remember you must run back to the start before you can
go back and move one of your pieces.
 Don’t forget to use your pieces to block their moves before they win.
 Play 5 or more times with a partner and see how many you can win. If more people want to
play, take turns.

-Now let’s keep the fun going! Here is a fun water relay activity. The video will demonstrate how to play.
The rules are below. The video has been uploaded with this post. You can also use this link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tchX4ZMjBw

 You will need 2 or 3 buckets or big bowls. If you do the 2-bucket version like the video, you and
your partner are working together. If you do the 3-bucket version, you are playing against the
other person. Since the video shows the 2-bucket version, here are the rules for the 3-bucket
version.
 Place two empty buckets at the starting line. One for you and one for your opponent.
 Place another bucket with water in it at least 15 feet away. Get behind the starting line by your
bucket.
 Each person also needs a cup. The cups should be about the same size.
 Pick an amount of time that you want to play each round. Maybe 1 minute or 2 minutes.
 On “Go” take your cup and run to the bucket with water. Fill your cup and run back to your
empty bucket. Try not to spill water! Pour the water into your empty bucket and run back to the
bucket with water. Keep going!!
 When the time is up, whoever has the most water in their bucket wins!!
 Put the water back and play again! Play at least 5 times. If more people want to play, take turns.

-Next let’s play some catch with homemade scoops!! Get permission and help from a parent first. Here
is a video to demonstrate how to do this. The video has been uploaded with this assignment. You can
also use this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1jG66A-epw
 It is best if you have a partner, but you could play catch with yourself. Each person who plays
needs a rinsed out and clean milk jug. It does not matter what size.
 Get a parent to cut the jug for you. There are different ways to cut it. The easiest way is to cut
the bottom of the jug off.
 Now get a ball or object that you can through and catch with your new scoop!!
 Challenge yourself, get a partner and pick a distance to stand apart from your partner. See how
many catches in a row you can get before someone drops the ball.
 Try standing close together and play catch. Toss the ball to your partner so they can catch it.
Now they do the same for you. If you both of you caught it in the scoop, both of you take a step
back and try from this distance. Keep doing this and see how far away you can get from your
partner while still being able to catch it.
 Now try throwing with the scoop, not your hand, to your partner for them to catch. Your partner
does the same thing.
 Do these activities at least couple times each!

-Finish and celebrate the end of the school year by following the moves to this Just Dance video. The
video has been uploaded with this assignment post. You can also use this link:
