To Whom It May Concern,

It is my privilege to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Adriana Mancilla. I have known
Adriana for two years as her BTSA Mentor. I have seen what an outstanding teacher she is,
watched her learn and implement new curriculum, and seen her reflect upon, and improve in her
instructional skills over the years.

Adriana shows a great amount of dedication to teaching, as she is always prepared for
instruction and any class management issues. She is a great team player, and has worked
seamlessly with her grade level team.

One of Adriana’s best qualities as a teacher is her willingness to reflect upon her teaching, and
always strive to improve her skills. She is a learner, and is willing to share her ideas and
experiences with others, but also willing to learn and try new experiences for her own growth as
a professional. I have observed her ability in the classroom to push her students to be critical
thinkers, collaborators, creators, and communicate through their voice and in writing.

I have no doubts that Ms. Mancilla will be a great asset to your school and instructional team.
She has the passion and desire to see all students succeed, and she has the same passion and
