ORDER
1, Whereas, the Ministry of Home Affairs vide Order No. 40-3/2020-DM-I (A), dated
01.05.2020, has extended the lockdown period for a further period of two weeks
with effect from 04-05-2020 and also has issued new guidelines on lockdown
measures, which will come into effect from 04.05.2020 for a period of two weeks.
Consequent to this the Government of Karnataka vide Order No.RD 158 TNR
2020, Dated 02.05.2020 issued new guidelines on lockdown measures which will
come into effect from 04.05.2020 for the period of two weeks.
2. In continuation of the Government Order No. RD 158 TNR 2020,
dated 02-05-2020, the undersigned, in his capacity of Chairman, State Executive
Committee, hereby permits inter-district movement of individuals and vehicles to
undertake permitted activities in the following manner.
a. Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Ramanagara, Chikkaballapur and Kolar
districts will be treated as a single unit for the purpose of movement during
daytime between 7 am to 7 pm to undertake permitted activities only with
the production of letter from the Company/Organization they are working in
and the official Identity Card of the Company/Organization. Hence, no
other inter-district passes will be required to move across these districts.
b. For other districts, inter-district movement passes for permitted acti
ies
will be required, which will be issued by concerned Deputy Commissioners
of districts / Deputy Commissioner of Police in Commissionerates. No
imeer-district passes shall be issued for non-permitted activities except on
one-time basis for stranded persons.
For movement of individuals during night time curfew timings between 7
pm to 7 am, passes already issued for all essential activities only, shall

3. The instructions set-out above shall be strictly implemented by Departments,
District Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police, BBMP, Police
Commissioners and other Heads of Departments.
