2009 then dropped to 15000 in 2014 and followed by an incredible increase of 5000 to 20000 in 2019.
In Asia, the most businesswoman recorded was 18000 in 2009, then the number dropped to 15000 in 2014
and the decreasing trend continued until only 12000 businesswomen were recorded in 2019.

60000 in 2019 compared to Australia and Asia.

In 2009, Europe recorded the highest number of businesswomen with 25000. This was followed by
Australia with 20000 businesswoman and Asia with 18000 businesswomen.
In 2014, Europe recorded an increase with 5000 businesswomen, followed by 15000 businesswomen from
Australia and Asia.
In 2019, Europe recorded the highest again with 60000 businesswomen, followed by 30000 businesswomen
from Australia and 12000 businesswomen from Asia.
Content 3: Reason
This can be attributed to the lack of support from the Asia continent, and the businesswoman do not see
promising prospects in setting up their own companies. The situation has significantly improved since then
probably due to the Australia’s recognition of their businesswomen’s contribution to the economy and
decided support them with loans and grants.
Conclusion: Overall trend & prediction
In summary, Asia’s unbalanced economic growth resulted in a continuous decrease trend in number of
businesswoman while balanced economic growth in Europe and Australia had created a growing community
of businesswoman.
It is predicted that the number of businesswomen in Europe and Australia will continue to increase in the
years to come with balanced economic growth from their respective continents.
