Online Contest
Regional Science City, Lucknow is organizing an online contest ‘Best out of Waste’
for students to utilize the lockdown period creatively.
How to Participate: Students need to fabricate a science model using household waste
materials (small cartoon box, paper, bottles, buttons, wires, pipes, tubes, toy parts,
broken ceramics, bangles, unused cloths, CDs etc.) and send us a video of 3-4
minutes explaining the significance scientific concept or the utility of model.

Rules and Guidelines:
1. The contest is open for students in following two categories viz.
(A) Junior category (up to class 8th)
(B) Senior category (class 9th to class 12th).

2. The video file should be in MP4 format and not more than 40 MB in size.
3. Attractive prizes shall be awarded to the winners.
4. The decision of jury members will be final and binding on all.
5. A few selected entries will be uploaded on our face book after initial screening for
public viewing. The number of likes will also have bearing on selecting the
winners.
6. The participant is requested to strictly adhere to the lockdown rules as issued by
Govt. In case, the participant comes across any problem in uploading the video,
then the video may please be sent on email ID: rscleducation@gmail.com or

entries for this contest is 15th May, 2020.
