1. INTRODUCTION

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

DIW CONSTRUCTION is a well-established contracting company that was established

in 2018,DIW construction has been providing exceptional service to public and private
sector clients, we as a company strive to help the unemployment in our local community
Olifantshoek, a lot of young people have the talent and qualifications but can’t find the
opportunity because it’s not given to them.

DIW construction consist of various business ventures such as, building, construction,
maintenance, plumbing and fitting projects of all types, from new structures, industrial and
residential, to restorations of any sort, we are in our element on the building site,
regardless of the nature of the project.

DIW construction is founded by three individuals who has equal shares.

DIW construction consist of three directors:

• Ivan Feris
• Welma Johnson

SAFETY

We ensure that the wellbeing of our employees are an importance to us, that’s why we
have a monthly inspection to ensure all safety gear of our employees are in a good
condition and they always have their safety gear on.

Hazardous such as bricks falling, step ladders or poisonous fumes always present,
construction environment poses constant potential health threats.

To prevent all injures to happen we ensure to have a daily safety talk every morning
before everyone starts with their daily task, we provide safety gear to all employees,
through our site managers, make sure safety specifications are observed and met at all
times, therefore the site manager do regular site visits to make sure all employees follow
the rules and avoid the possibility to get injured.
