Part 2 of 2: TRIBUTE TO YOUR ADVISER ORIGINAL SONG COMPOSITION

INITIAL Performance day (classroom – Music Period):

October 8 (Wednesday) – St. Jerome
October 9 (Thursday) – St. Benedict, St. Luke, St. Thomas More,
St. John Bosco, St. Maximilian Kolbe

Rationale:
October 5 is considered as the World Teachers’ Day and so, in celebration of this event, AS A CLASS,
you are to create a tribute through an original composition dedicated only to your class adviser. This is a
SECRET PROJECT meaning, only ME and my classes should now this until you perform this to your adviser.

Mechanics:
 Lyrics theme & inspiration MUST be dedicated to your adviser.
 Lyrics can be either in ENGLISH & FILIPINO.
 Choice of instrumentation is the class’s choice 
 The DAY OF SERENADE is also the class’s choice provided I already evaluated your song during
your performance day which is the same with the Rap song composition performance day. 
 The day of serenade must be video graphed by one of the class members and must be also submitted to
your teacher.

NOTE:
Plan this ahead since this is a CLASS PERFORMANCE. Also, this is also a nice way to show your gratitude to your
beloved adviser. Your rehearsals for this should be well-planned and to be remained secret until the day of your serenade
comes. Enjoy and have fun.

PERFORMANCE TASK COMPONENTS (equivalent to Quarterly Test & Performance):

 Rap Song Composition – 50 pts.
 Adviser Tribute Song – 50 pts.
TOTAL: 100 pts.
