To whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter in reference to Karina. I have had the privilege of working with Karina during
the school year of 2019-2020, in my Kindergarten/Grade One classroom. Karina has taught and inspired my
students in various ways over the past few months. She has vast knowledge of the curriculum taught at
this grade level and is more than capable to adapt and modify learning outcomes to accommodate all
student needs. Karina is a firm believer in inclusion and making each and every person big or little, feel
welcome and part of the class. She works hard to understand the new BC Curriculum, she has done an
amazing job brining in a variety of engaging lessons into the classroom.

Karina has many skills and assets that will benefit her teaching career. She is exceptionally
comfortable in front of the classroom, and displays much confidence in her teaching practices. Karina is
very well planned and prepared for each lesson she has taught, thus allowing her to be flexible when things
come up throughout the day. Karina has planned hands on and engaging lessons, both indoor and outdoor.
Karina is dedicated to teaching and has made a point of staying after school hours to be a part of and
contribute her knowledge of student growth at Parent-Teacher Conferences, Christmas concert, field trips
and unscheduled practicum days. She is always lending a helping hand and volunteers on her own time to
help out in the classroom.

Karina has a bubbly and calming personality making it easy for anyone to get along with her. She
works hard to connect with each student as soon as they walk in the classroom. She has many
management tools in her ‘tool kit’ which has made her have a very successful practicum. Karina has a
cheerful and calming way to defuse situations between students. I would feel fortunate to have Karina
teach my future children. She is an amazing student teacher, and will go far in this profession.
