Born in Indiana the year, 1958.
He begins as a singer in the male family group called the jackson five.
Michael Jackson, takes the lead of the music group for his incredible voice.
In 1967 they released their first single, which was soon a star, Berry Gody hired them for the
Motown label, which until 1975 released the successive and successful singles that, along with
television appearances and concerts, launched the group to stardom. Without ever disassociating
himself from his brothers, with whom he would continue to share recordings and stages, Michael
Jackson began an individual career in 1971, the year he released Got to Be There (1971), which
was followed by Ben (1972).
From then on, some of the hobbies and extravagances that Michael Jackson would display
throughout his career began to be known, such as his personal religious ideas or the excessive
attention he paid to his health and physical appearance; However, these were the years when he
best concentrated his talent and energy in artistic creation. The success of Off the Wall led to a
new collaboration by Jackson with Quincy Jones, the result of which, after long and intense work,
was Thriller, which did not hit the market until 1982.
Thriller was overwhelmingly successful, quickly becoming the best-selling single-artist album in
music history.
After receiving eight Grammy Awards for Thriller, Michael Jackson still accompanied his brothers
at promotional concerts for the band's penultimate album, Victory (1984), as well as on The
Jacksons' final tour in 1985, sponsored by a major soft drink company. .
Focused exclusively on his solo career, the artist continued to enjoy worldwide admiration and
stratospheric sales. Two years later he released a new album, Bad (1987).
Everything went very well for Michael until the day of his death in 2009, a few weeks before the
start of the tour, caused a great commotion around the world.

RTA: I admire Michael Jackson because from a very young age I listened to him and I really liked
what he did, I liked to dance like him, among others.
He has been one of my biggest influences since childhood.
