¿El transporte Público debe ser Gratuito?

Rta:

From my point of view, public transport should not be entirely free, since
in my opinion these transport systems must raise some money to be able to subsist,
for fuels, repairs and adjustments that must be made in the same service, to that
likewise the other monies that are collected from the society, can be used in more
productive things and that are necessary in the society.

Let us think for a moment that if simply, the public transport rates were
adjusted relative to the routes that people make or to the journey it would be more
beneficial for us as a population and the system would also raise money. That is
what they do in several Latin American countries, the person who pays depends on
their travel journey, everyone is better and more satisfied, so we would avoid that the
person attacks the system and against society itself

On the other hand, the massive transportation system in some parts of the
world is a very poor service for citizens, therefore, a serious fee will not be charged
in a compensatory way for all of us who use it.

But, also in a specific case like Colombia, if the transport were free,
people would not value this transport system, more street vendors would arrive and
possibly collapse, therefore, it would be good to give payment options for values or
distances and thus Obtain the agreement of the parties involved.
