TOPIC: RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

TITLE: WHAT IS THE CURRENT VIABILITY FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF WIND POWER PLANTS IN COLOMBIA?

 -PARADIGM: INTERPRETIVE

As information needs to be gathered and make conclusions, it is

essential that the paradigm must be interpretive. This paradigm is
underpinned by observation and interpretation, therefore, we will
observe the main problem through data collection and information
about events in Colombia, then, we will interpret to make the meaning
of that information by drawing inferences or by judging the match of the
information.

- FOCUS: QUALITATIVE

The qualitative focus will allow us to make narrative records of the

phenomena that are studied using techniques such as
content analysis of visual and textual material and will avow us to make
conclusions about the results of the project. It is important to use this
focus to analyze graphics and textual material to interpret the results.

-STUDY TYPE: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

The objective of this project is to collect several information about the

installation of wind power plants in Colombia, thus, its required to
review the economic, social and profitability based on previous
investigations related to this project to determine the viability of wind
plants. We will use the systematic review to evaluate and
synthesize research evidence.

DATA COLLECTION METHODS / INSTRUMENTS

 Documents and records analysis

 Theory triangulation: the purpose of this triangulation is to make
use of multiple data sources to the extent possible to provide
corroborating evidence.
DATA ANALYSIS: DESCRIPTIVE

This method is based on the collection of related data, subsequently

organized and then concluded. After collecting the data, we need to
describe the important results of the information obtained to conclude if
the installation of wind power plants are viable for Colombia.
