On-line General Health &

Safety Induction

The following instructions are to access an online induction in the Westland Milk Products “Risk Manager”
system. You must have internet access to complete the induction and a late version internet browser.

You are allowed unlimited attempts to complete the questionnaire.

You can watch the video as many times as required.

The induction must be completed within 7 days.

1. Go to www.riskmanager.co.nz
You must get 100% to be successful (to pass).

Click on the ‘Log on’ button

2. Enter User Name and Password that you have been issued

Put in the Username and password

you have been given.

Click on the ‘Log in’ button

3. Look at the E-Learning section on the Risk Manager “Dashboard” that comes up when you have
successfully logged in. Clicked on the hyperlink (usually a 3 digit number).

This takes you to your Risk Manager

Dashboard

Note the expiry date that the

induction needs to be completed by.

To start your induction, click on the

number on the left hand side of the
dashboard under the heading E-
Learning

4. You will now be on the Induction page. Follow the instructions below.

5. Once you have finished watching the video press “Start Assessment” to answer the questions.

It brings you back to this page

assessment. This is a simple multiple
choice questionaire to ensure you
understand the basic H&S principles
for our site

6. Read each question and tick the relevant box (only one correct answer).

Read each question and tick on the

relevant box. You need to get 100%
correct and can go back to check out
the video at any time, but please
press the ‘SAVE’ button at the
bottom of this page, otherwise your
answers will be lost. If you have an
incorrect answer and press the
‘SAVE’ button, you will have to
restart the questionaire

7. Once completed press Save.

You can save the assessment at any

time and come back to it providing
the completed answers are correct.
If you have an incorrect answer you
will have to re-start the assessment.

Once the assessment is completed,

click on ‘Save’, the system will
automatically mark your work.

8. If you do not get a successful score (100%) you will need to redo the assessment.

If you get an incorrect

answer you will have the
choice of either re-viewing
the video or re-doing the
assessment.

9. If you do get a successful score (100%) the following screen appears and you can log out of the system.

If you get all answers correct,

the following screen appears
and you can now log out.

10. A record of all attempts will be saved. You only get a valid Induction Record against your name once the
Induction is competed successfully.
