Japan occupied Philippines around 1942-1945, and the invasion to the Philippines started on
December, they attack pearl harbor, where American aircraft is severely damaged, and because
of lack of air cover they are forced to leave war area. And the outcome is severe starving, being
murdered and forced to surrender. japan took placed for about three years. My grandma's
grandfather, she said that he fought in the war. my grandma’s also told me that the experience
of her grandfather is a nightmare he always thought that this war will not end and the killing
will always take place and also there is a time where Japanese are trying to convince them that
they are alliance and not enemy, but that doesn't work for them because they see a lot. my
grandma’s said that she doesn’t know more but remember that this time is the time where my
grandma's remember his grandfather as a hero and thankful as well that she heard about that
story that will last into her mind forever, it might not be the detailed story but this might have
an opening of what japan occupation is all about.
