How to move the object from one package to another

This article will explain how to move the object to another package.

The current package of the report ZTEST_SOURCE is ZJK

Let’s see how the package can be changed from ZJK to ZTEST_DEMO.

Steps:

1.     Go to transaction code SE80 and enter the program name by selecting the program drop down list
values.
2.     Right click on the program name and select  Other Functions->Change Package Assignment as
below
3.     Enter the desired package name

The package of the object will be changed and below message will appear at the status bar
4.     Check the package ZTEST_DEMO

In this way we can change the package of the object.
