Notes:

1. If possible, use the child’s weight to determine the dose. Otherwise, use the child’s age.
2. Doses may be repeated every 4 hours, but should not be given more than five times in 24 hours.
3. Milliliter is abbreviated as mL. 5 mL equals one teaspoon (tsp).
4. Do not use household teaspoons as they can vary in size.
5. Do not use with any other products containing acetaminophen.
6. Children’s Meltaway Chewable Tablets are not the same concentration as Jr Strength Meltaway
Chewable Tablets (Children’s = 80 mg, Junior = 160 mg).
7. All Infants’ and Children’s Oral Suspension products have the same acetaminophen concentration
(160 mg/5mL)
