COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. Recognize the common lesions that develop in the vulva,
vagina, cervix, corpus, fallopian tubes and ovaries.
2. Define Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion as it involves, the
vulva, vagina, and cervix
3. Discuss the pathogenesis of cervical cancer
4. Enumerate the causes of abnormal uterine bleeding
5. Differentiate between non-atypical and atypical endometrial
hyperplasia
6. Discuss the pathogenesis of endometrial carcinoma
7. Define the parameters to distinguish between benign and
malignant smooth muscle tumors
8. Enumerate the four classes of ovarian neoplasms and the
tumors under each class
9. Define the concept of Borderline tumors among the surface
epithelial tumors of the ovary
10.Recognize the differences among Partial Mole, Complete Mole
and Choriocarcinoma
