Features of the Proposed Survival bag

Designing a survival bag needs a deep research to accommodate essential things

for emergency situations. There are factors that need to be considered in designing

such as, comfortability, size, strength and durability.

A survival bag should be capable to contain important items needed by a person or

a family to survive emergency situations. The bag should consist of important

document, food, clothes, first aid kit and emergency equipment. Therefore, the choosing

the right size of survival bag is vital. The proposed bag’s size is 31 liters which is the

ideal size of a survival bag.

The users should not feel discomfort in using a bag. A comfortable pack helps to

increase endurance and speed by avoiding frequent overload and adjustment stops. A

lightweight survival bag with good set of padded shoulder straps is more than enough.

Additional chest belt could be added for support and distribute the weight in your body.

A high quality and durable bag is needed to support the necessary items essential

for emergency to avoid damage. The proposed bag will be using Nylon material to

ensure durability and flexibility. The nylon material and the polyester was compared in

terms of durability, flexibility and availability.
