END OF YEAR!
Miss Saltzsieder Second Grade 2019/2020

Pick Up/Drop Off

Items
At the bottom of this newsletter is
the schedule for your day. Here is
what to bring:

• Chrome book, if you

checked one out


• Whiteboard


• The bin that the items The Next Two Weeks:

came in (if you have it)

• Library books
 instructed us to do this so that we may spend these last two weeks
• Goodbye card for
Principal Reynolds (We
will have a box for
them to get dropped
off!)

• An optional goodbye
card for Mrs. Joyce,
our lovely second
grade teacher who is
retiring this year!
After today, there is no new content on Canvas. The district has
catching up and finishing off what has been…a wild ride.
 
Therefore, if your student is all caught up they will not have any
school work for the next two weeks! Basically, if their Pearson “my
work” section is empty, they are all done!
 
Please take the time to double check your student’s Pearson page. I
am going to spend some time today deleting any “optional”
assignments so that those of you who need the time to catch up will
not feel overwhelmed with things they do not have to do. All online
work should be turned in as soon as possible, please let me know if
you need any help while catching up!

Pick Up/Drop Off Zoom, Online Games

Continued
On their “Pick Up/Drop Off”
day the students will get a
bag of items that I packed
up for them. It has all of their
objects from the classroom. I
also will have some fun gifts
in there too 😊
***If you have anything that
you need me to sign for the
end of the year, please bring
it on that day. I currently plan
on being there for every pick
up time frame, just to get a
chance to say goodbye to as
many kiddos as possible!
I am not going to be doing student zooms every day for
the next two weeks, as I know that can be a bit to get the
student logged on each day when there are other things
you have to attend to at home. I will do a student zoom
on Tuesday and Friday. I will send out the invite ahead of
time! With it only being two zooms, it would be amazing
to have as many kids login to it as possible to say
goodbye to their classmates!
All online games and so forth should continue to work
through June, so the students can still login and play
games if they want! The canvas page will be up too so
they can go back and look at fun activities on their to
keep them entertained! (Bedtime stories with Bueller are
there too 😊 )

hour zoom from 2:30-3:00
each school day, and will
continue to have it through
the end of the  school year!
