HTS REPORT ON THE 79TH YEAR CEAP ANNIVERSARY

I. INTRODUCTION/ RATIONALE

Being one of the member schools of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines, we
are proud and honored to celebrate on our own special way of celebrating the 79th year
anniversary of CEAP this year.

Last February 3, 2020 Monday, HTS community joined together and united as one for a simple
celebration of our faith that we are all very grateful for our catholic education for the way our
educational system and CEAP have made our faith a part of our daily lives.
The purpose of this simple CEAP anniversary celebration is to educate and inform our students
that being in a catholic education, their catholic faith is always be a part of every decision they
have to make, big or small. Their morals and values have been shaped by the catholic tradition
they were raised in, and they know that there is always a community who will welcome them
home, and there’s always a place for them to learn about the world around them and their faith
tradition.

II. ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN

The student activity coordinator together with the CLE teachers and the CIM team formulated a
program for the simple anniversary celebration. The first activity is the Triduum, HTS students,
faculty and staff gathered together in a period of three days observance, prayed to the Almighty
God that they are given the opportunity to encounter each other through this CEAP anniversary, to
reach mutual respect and love each other. And that the Almighty Father will show the HTS
community the way to harmony and unity to reach the fullness of mankind.

It is then followed by the general assembly in the open basketball court were everyone was
encourage to participate in dancing and singing of the Huwarang Katoliko. Trinitarians have
enjoyed so much in singing and dancing together, as if they were performing a mass demonstration
of their faith.

The final part of the activity is the short symposium held at the HTS 3 rd floor HS new building.
The CLE teachers together with the Students Activity coordinator discussed and narrated the
history of CEAP.

III. PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED

Problems are inevitable part of every activity conducted. It enables us to see what to improve in
order for a program to become successful. During our celebration activity we have encountered
problems like technology breakdown, our sound system do not cooperate at that time making it
real hard for the teachers to discuss in a plenary hall the sequence of the year were CEAP was
founded; students in lower level like the kindergarten and Grade 1 are not attentive enough in
listening to the history being told to them.

IV. RECOMMENDATION

Base on the problems that we have encountered it will be more helpful if we have check all the
technicalities of the facilities that we need before executing the activity, in doing so we can ensure
that the entire things essential in the fulfillment of the activity will be complete. Finally it will
really help if we have more days to prepare for the activity so we can really focus on each activity
to ensure that the celebration will be worth remembering and a life-long experience to all
Trinitarians.

V. DOCUMENTATION
Pictures of the celebration activities were posted in the school’s FB page
