I, Mukhtiar Singh son of Banta Singh, resident of Village

Hassuwal, Tehsil Bholath District Kapurthala, Punjab, India, do
hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under that:-
1. That Sukhmanpreet Singh is my real son who was born on

October 17, 1999. He’s been raised in very healthy

atmosphere so he’s a very kind and Noble hearted person.

2. That this is my second affidavit for my son in support of his

Asylum application. Prior to this, I have already submitted my

affidavit dated April 11, 2017. But due to typographical

mistake, it has been mistakenly typed that I am active

member of SADA party. The subsequent attacks were also not

mentioned in my first affidavit. Actually, I am worker of SADA

 party. I have always been talking and spreading good word

about the party’s mission and good work being done by the

party and the surrounding areas. Akali Dal Badal used to

threaten me to leave the SADA party and to join hands with

them. Upon denying they got very upset and started using

derogatory remarks about my family. I got noticed as I was

actively participating in preparation of upcoming rally and

targeted everybody taking part in rally preparation to cease

them.

3. That on February 17, 2016, I went to attend a rally at Bholath. I

asked my son Sukhmanpreet Singh to pick me up. As both of

us were coming back on scooty, we were stopped by few men

in a car at Bholath road. They started hitting me with the sticks

on his back and legs. They were very brutal towards me as

they slapped, punched and kicked me. They pushed hard my

son Sukhmanpreet Singh when he tried stopping them. They

left the place warning me about killing my son if I did’nt stop

the SADA party activities.

4. That this incident brought lot of fear in ours mind. We do not

want to lose Sukhmanpreet Singh and finally we made

 arrangements and arranged travel for my son and sent him

outside India.

5. That presently my son is safely residing at U.S.A. Since he left

India, circumstances gets more worst that before. I have been

continuously harmed by opposite parties because of my active

support for SADA party. On July 18, 2018, I was badly beaten

up by Congress party workers. My wife was also beaten up

when she tried to stop them from hitting me. The attackers

threatened me to kill my son if they ever found him. After this

incident, I tried to report the matter to the Police, but due to

influence of Congress party, Police refused to take my

complaint on the pretext that they cannot do anything against

present Government of Punjab.

6. That on January 26, 2020, I was returning back after attending

Black Day rally of SADA party. When I reached near Village

Chuguwan, I saw a car was trying to block my way. I got

scared and escape from there and hide myself in Sugarcane

fields. My wife talked my father-in-law about me who

suggested her that I should live in hiding. At present I living in

 hiding in order to save myself from the hands of Congress

party and Akali Dal Badal party workers.

7. That in these circumstances, it is very dangerous for my son to

come back to India. So I request before American Government

to grant him permission to live there by allowing his Asylum

application.

I, Paramjit Kaur wife of Mukhtiar Singh, resident of Village
Hassuwal, Tehsil Bholath District Kapurthala, Punjab, India
do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under that:-
1. That I am mother of Sukhmanpreet Singh. His date of
birth is October 17, 1999. He is a very obedient and
noble child. Presently he is residing in United States.
2. That I have earlier submitted my affidavit dated April
11, 2017 in support of Asylum application applied by my
son at U.S.A. But due to typographical mistake, it has
been mistakenly typed that my husband has been an
active member of SADA party. Infact my husband is
worker of this party since many years.
3. My husband was repeatedly threatened and warned by
Badal party workers to quit SADA party and join hands
with them. My husband was targeted by the Badal Party
because he was playing a key role in preparatory
activities for an upcoming rally and Badal party was
trying to the Core to not let that rally taking place.
4. That very next, my husband was coming back home
after attending a rally at Bholath. Sukhmanpreet Singh
went to pick him on a scooty. As they both were coming
back home, they were stopped by few men in a car,
they went very brutal and inhuman towards my
husband. They kicked, punched and slapped him and
beaten him up with the sticks. When my son
Sukhmanpreet Singh tried to stop them, they pushed
him real hard that he fell on the ground. They left the
place of attack with a warning to kill our son
Sukhmanpreet Singh, if my husband would not cease to
work for SADA party.
5. That I got scared and started worried for my son’s life
and ultimately we sent Sukhmanpreet Singh outside
India. Since my son left India, my husband faced lot of
consequences and attacks were attempted to him. On
July 18, 2018, Congress party workers gave severe
beatings to my husband. They broke my husband elbow.
I was also beaten up by them when I tried to stop them
from beating my husband. After this incident, I usually
have pain in my legs. The attackers left the place with a
warning that they will eliminate my son on finding him.
6. That my husband also went to Police station seeking
help from them, but they showed their indifferent
attitude towards my husband and refused to provide
any sort of help to him. They did this because Police is
puppet in the hands of ruling party and Congress party
is ruling party in Punjab.
7. That on January 26, 2020, my husband was returning
home after attending black day rally organized by SADA
party and he saw one car trying to stop him. My
husband left huis bike and hide himself in sugarcane
crops. When I was informed about this incident, I talked
to my father and narrated him about the incidents and
threats which were given to my husband who suggested
my husband to live in hiding and since then my husband
is living in hiding.
 8. That I do not want that Sukhmanpreet Singh would
return back to India because Congress party workers are
still finding him. So, I request before American
Government to grant him permission to live there.

I, HEAD OF VILLAGE, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare
as under that:-
1. That I know Sukhmanpreet Singh and his father
Mukhtiar Singh being Head of my village. I am giving
this affidavit in support of Asylum application that has
been applied by Sukhmanpreet Singh at U.S.A. He had
to flee from country because of death threats issued by
Congress party and Akali Da Badal party workers.
2. That Mukhtiar Singh father of Sukhmanpret Singh is
worker of SADA party, a party works for separate Sikh
 Sovereign State i.e Khalistan and indulges in various
social works. On the contrary, other political parties are
totally against SADA party and always tried to decrease
SADA powers by harming its workers/supporters/leaders
etc. Many of them have lost their lives during the
scuffle. Mukhtair Singh being worker of SADA party was
quite popular in our village and surrounding areas. But
opposite parties monitored his active participation in
SADA party and they were bent upon to kill
Sukhmanpreet Singh because Mukhtiar Singh did not
accede to their proposal of joining hands with them.
3. That I know that on January 21, 2016, Badal party
workers came to Sukhmanpreet Singh house and openly
threatened to his father that in case he will not join
hands with them, they will kill Sukhmanpreet Singh. The
attackers used bad words for Mukhtiar Singh and his
family.
4. That on February 17, 2016, Mukhtiar Singh was attacked
and brutally beaten by Akali Dal Badal party workers.
The attackers again issued threats to kill Sukhmanpreet
Singh. This incident brought maximum fear in Mukhtiar’s
family mind and they made plan to send Sukhmanpreet
Singh to a safer place. As planned, Mukhtiar Singh send
his son Sukhmanpreet Singh outside India.
 5. That as per my knowledge, Sukhmanpreet Singh
presently residing at U.S.A. But here in India, his father
Mukhtiar Singh is still facing political intimidation from
his political opponents. On July 18, 2018, Mukhtiar Singh
and his wife Paramjit Kaur were badly beaten up by
Congress party workers. The attackers openly
proclaimed to kill Sukhmanpreet on finding him.
Mukhtiar Singh also went to Police seeking help from
them, but Police refused to deliver justice to him. I also
know that on January 26, 2020, a car was trying to stop
Mukhtiar Singh when he was returning from Black day
rally, but somehow he saved himself by running away
from there. Now a days, Mukhtiar Singh is living in
hiding and in these circumstances, it is not safe for
Sukhmanpreet to comes back to India and live a normal
life. So, I request before American Government to grant
him permission to live there so that he can spend his
future life safely and peaceful.

AFFIDAVIT
I, MATERNAL GRANDFATHER, do hereby solemnly affirm
and declare as under that:-
1. That I am maternal grandfather of Sukhmanpreet
Singh. I have lot of love and affection for my grandson.
We were compelled to send him out of country because
political opponents of my son-in-law were threatening to
eliminate my grandson.
2. That my son-in-law had political affiliation with SADA
party as its workers, but opposite parties like Akali Dal
Badal and Congress parties do not want that my son-in-
law should work for SADA party. So they har med my
son-in-law in every manner with a view to put pressure
upon him so that he may leave his support for SADA
party and join hands with them.
3. That I was informed that on January 21, 2016, Badal
party workers came to my son-in-law’s house and
threatened to kill my grandson Sukhmanpreet if my son-
in-law will not join them.
4. That on February 17, 2016, my son-in-law was attacked
by Akali Dal Badal party workers when he was with my
grandson Sukhmanpreet Singh. The attackers badly
beaten up my son-in-law and also pushed my grandson.
 The attackers threatened my son-in-law that next time
they will kill my grandson if he did not listen to them.
After this incident, my son-in-law and daughter started
worried for Sukhmanpreet’s safety and ultimately they
send my grandson outside India.
5. That presently Sukhmanpreet Singh residing peacefully
at America and there he has applied for Asylum. In
India, the situation gets more worst than before. After
the establishment of Congress party in Punjab, now they
are bent upon to harm my son-in-law because he again
refused to leave SADA party and join hands with them.
6. That I was informed that on July 18, 2018, Congress
party workers attacked my son-in-law and beaten up
him badly and broke his right elbow. My daughter was
also beaten up by them when she tried to stop them
from beating my son-in-law. The attackers while leaving
again issued threats to kill my grandson. My son-in-law
knock the door of Police, but Police refused to provide
help to my son-in-law by saying that they cannot do
anything against ruling party and Congress party is
ruling Government of Punjab. On January 26, 2020, my
son-in-law was returning home after attending Black
Day rally and when he saw a car was trying to stop him.
My son-in-law became afraid and ran away towards
Sugarcane fields to hide himself. I received call from my
 daughter who narrated me entire incidents. I suggested
my daughter to ask my son-in-law to live in hiding. Upon
my suggestion, my son-in-law now living in hiding.
7. That Sukhmanpreet Singh is safe and secure at U.S.A. I
request before American Government to grant his
permission to live there because if he comes back to
India then he will be definitely killed.
