My Search for a Boyhood Friend led to the Dark discovery tackles the
real-life situation on how the girl trying to find the truth & justice on how
her friend being bullied or harassed by someone. The writer Douglas
Peterson try to inform us that it is the problem that our societies facing
now. We could also read in the story on how the girl faces the reality.
The purpose of the story is that it is very important to accept the fact
even though it has a good/bad effect in our lives. The story claims that
the author wishes to claim is to have acceptance in our life. For us to
move on & live our life as what we live before.

“The girl stared at the outside of the window in her room when she
woke up in the morning and always Googling for their acquaintances”.
In this statement, I could say that the narrator or author stated about
the happenings in our society or it is based on the authors life
experience to find the truth or justice for those people who has been
harassed or killed by someone. The girl in the story is really a loving
woman to his friend Petey. Since she knew that her friend died, she’s a
very strong woman to accept the reality when her friend died.

“She flippantly Googled to discovered something ghastly”. She said

that it wasn’t a knowledge of power; it was a knowledge of sorrow that
she feels when she received a brutal information. I can say that she’s
eager to discover the truth.

The most exciting part of the story My Search for a Boyhood Friend led
to the Dark discovery is that when she found out what Petey’s middle
name and search it. When it popped out in the article The Times of
Trenton, it says there that Peter Anderson was found in a boarding
house in Ewing, New Jersey, his hand and feet were bound with
packing tape. He was bludgeoned to death with a hammer.
The resolution of the story “My Search for a Boyhood Friend led to the
Dark discovery”, is when she has a righteous in facing the reality and
the result of the Internet is to carry her doorstep. Creating a good
memory even in just a little time of the people we loved.

I conclude, the girl wanted to reveal the truth of what really happened
to her friend Petey. It is done to a serious discovery but she chose to
go to the place where their good memories happened and where they
buried the tin for years. The author tackles realistic story that make us
reader to be interested on what he wrote and a lot of people have
related to his story on those people who have been experience it. The
readers will understand the story easily.
