Dear Heather Ace,

My experience as an undergraduate student at the University of Puerto Rico in

Ponce, Department of Biology, has allowed me to develop in different fields. This
allows me to be qualified to occupy the position as research associate 1. I hope I
can enjoy the opportunity that the company is offering.

I am currently in my fourth year of biomedicine and I am volunteering to

participate in some workshops in the university's PRISE program. These
workshops have me to further develop my laboratory techniques. In addition, I
have also had laboratory experiences in my biology courses that have
contributed to my knowledge. I have developed techniques such as
Micropipetting, Electrophoresis, PCR, Paternity tests, Western blot, Single stain,
Gram stain, Capsular stain, Striated plate, Culture media and Biochemical tests.
