multipath propagation models (W.C. lee and Okumora), reflection, scattering, fading, shadowing multipath effects, Doppler measurement.
2. Introduction to cellular mobile systems: Hexagonal cell and concept of frequency
reuse, Distance to frequency reuse ratio ,channel & co channel interference reduction factor, hand off mechanisms, Hard, Soft & forced handoffs , Cell splitting, Umbrella Cell Concept, Cell Sectoring, S/I ratio consideration and calculation for Minimum Co-channel and adjacent interference.
