BEARINGS
- the word bearing is applied,
in general, to the surfaces of
contact between two pieces
that have relative motion,
one of which supports or
partially supports the other

cylinders of slightly
greater length than
diameter. Roller
bearings typically
have higher load
capacity than ball
bearings.
GEAR BEARING
Gear bearing is roller
bearing combining to
epicyclical gear. Each
element of it is
represented by
concentric alternation of
rollers and gearwheels
with equality of roller(s)
diameter(s) to
gearwheel(s) pitch
diameter(s)

Bearings may be arranged, according
to the relative motions they will
allow, in three classes:
1. STRAIGHT TRANSLATION
2. ROTATION OR TURNING
