The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of sequences, polynomials and
polynomial equations.

Performance Standard:
The learner is able to formulate and solve problems involving sequences, polynomials and
polynomial equations in different disciplines through appropriate and accurate representations.

Learning Competences:
 The learner performs division of polynomials using long division and synthetic division.

Specific Learning Objectives:

At the end of the week, students are expected to:
1. Define polynomials.
2. Identify polynomial functions.
3. Solve problems involving polynomials.
4. Determine polynomial equations.
5. Use synthetic division to divide a polynomial by a first-degree binomial.
6. Use long division method in dividing a polynomial.

Motivation:
The teacher will recall the previous topic about the geometric sequence.
