PTO News 5/17/2020

It’s Throwback Sunday!

Let’s take a look back at Pancake Day! Revisit the fun at the photobooth, LINK HERE.

Kids Kreations
Kids Kreations is back! This exciting program allows your child’s custom artwork to be made into a variety of exclusive
keepsake items and shipped directly to your home. This year’s fundraiser will benefit the fifth grade class gift fund, since
they are unable to run their annual spring fundraiser to purchase a gift for the school. Look for the email from your
classroom teacher with your child’s custom art ID and instructions for ordering. You can also order custom items
created from photos or artwork you upload to the Kids Kreations website; click here for a “how to” guide for this. We
owe a huge thanks as always to our amazing art teacher, Ms. Lee, for all of her help curating your child’s art pieces for
this program. If you have questions about using your child’s art code to order, please email us at
indiantrailpto@gmail.com.

Shhh! It’s a Secret! Mrs. Jensen’s Retirement Surprise

This message is only coming to the parents. For those of you that don’t know, Michele Jensen is retiring this spring
after 34 years in D112! Michelle Winterstein, an Indian Trail parent and former kindergarten student of Mrs.
Jensen, and Ms. Duckman have graciously volunteered to create a scrapbook to honor her. Please see their
attached letter HERE if you are interested in helping, or know some former students and colleagues that may want
to get involved!

**GRADES 3,4,5: Required assignment notebooks are already included in our school supply kits. If you will not be
ordering a school supply kit for your student you will still need to login to Deerfield Coalition to purchase your
assignment notebook separately. We WILL NOT be selling assignment notebooks at the school office next year.**

Please note, if you have an Edgewood or HPHS student school supply sales are also through Deerfield Coalition.
