High voltage installation
Electrical safety issues

 You are not allowed to dismount the covering or


situate yourself behind the covering of the high
voltage installations.
 You are first permitted to enter the high voltage
installation when the high voltage has been
disconnected and both the HV switch and the
transformer are visibly earthed.
 Work must be carried out and approved by
authorized personnel only. (Electricity supply
company or selected coupling leader)
 You must be given permission from either of the
above before removing any covering.

Refer to national regulations for work on high


voltage installations.
