1. Answer any questions about rounding decimals
2. Draw this chart on the main whiteboard

Instructional
Activities *Have each student do the same on their worksheet or on a small whiteboard

3. Have them know the rule “if it’s five or higher raise the score if it’s four or
lower give it a rest!”
**I will complete one or two from each section with us both using the chart while I
explain how to use the chart and make sure they understand how to round to each of
the decimal places
 4. They will complete a few on their own then come to the board and show the
rest of the group how to complete it using the chart
