PM Narendra Modi on 25th April launched e-Gram Swaraj & Swamitva Yojana, two web
portals for accelerating the pace of development in India's villages

Benefit: The eGram Swaraj app will provide panchayats a single interface to complete
development projects. The app will help in accelerating projects in villages from planning
to completion.

Swamitva Yojana will use drones in mapping of properties in villages. This will help in reducing
disputes over property. The portal will help in making it easier for villagers to avail loans from
banks.

The Department of Science and Technology (DST),
Government of India, has rolled out an Integrated
Geospatial Platform known as “SAHYOG

Benefit:
This integrated geospatial platform aims to help in decision making during the present
COVID-19 outbreak and support with area-specific strategies in order to handle the
socio-economic impact in the recovery phase

The mobile application SAHYOG will also complement the “AAROGYASETU” mobile
application for Contact tracing, Public awareness, and Self-assessment objectives.
