2. As per the soil report allowable bearing pressure (ABP) is given for the depth beyond 3m.
Please check page no. 9 and 10 of geotechnical report.

3. For the depth at 4-5m from NGL, ABP is greater than 190t/m2. We have considered a factor
of 2.5 to convert ABP into SBC. The SBC comes around 190/2.5 ≈ 80t/m2, which is
higher as compared to the required base pressure. Please refer attached table from Geotech
report

4. In abutment design governing case for Foundation size is uplift and also RE wall is provided,
so no earth pressure is acting on the Abutment. This leads to higher factor of safety against
overturning and sliding.

7. To cater the unbalanced moment we have provided higher grade of concrete for pier cap
and kept the same grade for pier design, while for abutment design there is no such need.
The same has been considered in the design calculation also.
