RESOLUTION NO. 18-29

RESOLUTION RE-ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL OF

BARANGAY INAYAGAN CITY OF NAGA, CEBU.

WHEREAS, it is a declared policy of the state that its territorial and political sub-divisions shall enjoy
genuine and meaningful local autonomy to enable them to attain their fullest development as self-reliant
communities and make them more effective partners in the attainment of national goals;

WHEREAS, DILG memorandum circular no. 99-236 requires all barangay government unit to organize
their respective barangay anti-drug abuse councilor;

WHEREAS, part II of DILG memorandum circular 98-227 provides the guidelines in the creation of the
said council and to function and be responsible for the following activities;
1. Plan , strategize , implement and evaluate programs and projects on drug abuse preventions in the
barangay
2. Coordinate and collaborate with other institutions implementing programs and projects on drug
abuse at the barangay level
3. Continously gather and update data on drug abuse and its effect on peace and order situation in the
barangay including listening of users and pushers.
4. Submit a monthly report to the CADAC through the DILG field office.
5. Refer users and pushers to the police and other institutions for corresponding sanctions,
rehabilitation and /or counseling and
6. Perform other related functions

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. ALFREDO O. LARUMBE and duly seconded by all members present;
RESOLVED , AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to re-organize the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council
(BADAC) of Barangay Inayagan City of Naga to be composed of the following

Edilberto A. Fat - Chairman of BADAC

ALFREDO O. LARUMBE - Chairman on Peace and Order
Teodora C. Selloria - Public Elementary School Principal
John Roy Ravina - Public High School Principal
Margarito Regis - Chief Tanod
Alvaro Ramos - Religious organization
Joel Matoza - NGO
Jean A. Caña - PO
PO1 Melther H. Kyamko - Police Sa Barangay
PO3 Benzon Aldemita - Police Sa Barangay
