    Creative writing Chain Story Activity!

    You will need:!
    -pencil!
    -coloured paper!
    !
    !
    1. Brainstorm some magic related vocabulary with your students.!
    2. Divide the students in three or four groups.!
    3. Give each student a blank sheet. Write a sentence on the board (A LONG TIME AGO
    THERE WAS A PIRATE WHO DRANK A MAGIC POTION) to let students copy onto their
    paper.!
    4. Explain that they are going to invent a story. When the first student is finished writing, he/she
    should fold the paper and pass it to the next student.!
    5. Have students continue adding sentences to and passing their sheets of paper until they
    reach the last student.!
    6. Collect the papers and put the stories up around the class and get the students to read them
    all and decide which is best.
