Mydell #131 12/01/2017 On December ist, 2017 at 1453hrs, T responded to Walmart (150 Altara connector) in reference to a Theft by Shoplifting. Before my arrival, 1 made contact with the LP officer, Dendol Kelly Lee by phone, who advised that four black males were walking out of the store and into the parking lot. Kelly advised that only one of the males, which he described as a black male with shorts, and a black jacket with fur on the hood attempted to shoplift @ vIZT0 6Sin TV valued at $798.90. Upon ny arrival, T made contact with the four males in the parking lot. I had them all sit on the ground, until I could confirm the incident from Kelly, Kelly advised that although all four individuals were together, he identified che suspect, Ahmaud Marquez Arbery, as the individual who tried to walk out of the store with the merchandise. At that moment, I advised Ahmaud that he was under arrest for Theft by Shoplifting. I placed ahnaud in double locked hand restraints and checked for tightness. while placing him in handcuffs, T read Ahmad hie Miranda Rights which he didn't acknowledge. I searched Ahmaud incident to arrest and had negative results for contraband, T placed Ahraud in the rear of ry patrol vehicle. As for the other three (3) individuals on scene, Dendol advised that he wanted them criminally trespassea from the property. Ofc. Koenig (185) transported those individuals to the LP office, which I transported my offender in ny veblele to the LP office. T was able to identify the other Individuals: = Ziquel Easton 09/03/2002 (15) = Sared Nbray 08/25/2002 (15) = Larry Monroe 02/17/2500 (17) Because two of the individuals were juveniles, T had to make contact with their guardians. T vas able to get in contact with both juvenile's guardians, Charlie Trinmings (Jared Abray!s grandfather) and Aisha Easton (Ziquel Easton’ s and nother) who both came up to Walmart to take custody of the juveniles, T advised both guardians of the situation, and that they were both trespassed from the property, to which they understood. larry Monroe was released and but opted fo go with Ms, Monroe because they were cousins, After completing the necessary paperwork, T placed Ahmaud in the rear of ay patrol vehicle where I seat belted him in, I transported Anmaud to the Glynn County Detention Center where an ABIS/SOVT were completed. T transferred custody of ahmaud over to the detention officers without incident. A Theft by Shoplifting form was completed and turned into records along with a copy of the receipt.
