Leadership in action examines behaviors of leaders who lead. a leader "in deed". It is one thing to read
about them, but something quite remarkable to see them "live and in living.
Leadership actions are different from styles in that actions are individual and specific, whilst styles are
overall approaches. Both are based on a combination of their beliefs, values and preferences, as well as
the organizational culture and norms which will encourage some styles and discourage others.A good
leader is a good follower...
In terms of a leadership style, I would like to be laissez-faire in which leader often delegates tasks to
others and grants them the authority to make their own decisions. Laissez-faire leaders, typically
remaining uninvolved, equip subordinates with what they need and then hand over the reins.
