Definition:

Websites which are designed to provide people with entertainment which can be in form of videos, sports
news, celebrity gossips, online magazines ,games shows etc.

Purposes Of Entertainment Websites

 Each of the types mentioned above serve its own purpose
 Reading websites provides the people reading material and make them happy
 Music websites give people access to music to make them feel happy and feel relax
 Movies websites provide movies on one click rather than going to cinema and
making so much effort.
 This not only save money but also provides entertainment at home
 Those people who love sports can watch lives sports events through sports
websites .
 So one does not require to go to sports ground to watch match
 Comedy websites are providing are providing people with funny material and make
them laugh and release their stress away
 Websites giving celebrity gossips and fashion updates are also source of
entertainment for a no of people
 There are also many other kinds of entertainment websites which may in a bit
different way but their main purpose is to provide people with enjoyment and
entertainment

Disadvantages
Although these websites are source of pleasure and make enjoyment for us but at
the same time they are doing some harms
 Youth is being affected by these website to a larger extent
 Instead of spending there precious time in useful activities they are wasting
there mostly watching movies and listening to music and playing games
 Study of students is also being affected by these entertainment websites
 People are becoming lazy and physically less active

Conclusion

Everybody knows nothing is good or bad itself but the way we use it make it advantagiou or
harmful
So we must use social media or these entertainment websites for very short time when we
in need of pleasure or we want to release our stress
