Purpose 1. Students can introduce themselves in English properly and correctly

: 2. students are able to choose greetings in English properly and

correctly.

Material : Introduce myself and greeting

Media : Text box ( dialog percakapan )
Procedure : A. Opening (5 minutes);

The teacher greets students.

The teacher checks the presence of students
The teacher asks the class leader to lead the prayer before starting the
lesson

B. The main activities / teaching procedures (35 minutes);

1. The teacher explains the material about self-introduction and

greetings properly and correctly.
2. then the teacher gives an example of self-introduction (introduce
myself) and greetings (greeting) using English
3. The teacher asks students to record examples of conversation
material about self-introduction and greetings
4. The teacher asks students to find a partner
5. students are told to memorize the material that has been recorded
6. The teacher asks students if there are difficulties in learning to
memorize the material recorded
7. The teacher gives students 10 minutes to understand and memorize
them
8. The teacher asks students to come forward and practice
conversations about self-introduction and greetings with their partners
 9. Then, students must have a conversation based on the material they
get from the teacher correctly

C. Closure (5 minutes)

1. The teacher re-explained the lesson learned a little

2. The teacher asks the class leader to lead a prayer to signal the end
of this day's learning

A. Greeting
In communication it is normally to start and also finish our communication when we meet
someone. There are many expressions that we use to start communication and finish
communication. Greeting is usually followed by asking the condition of someone. We usually
greet people whatever formal or informal.

B. Introduce yourself

Materi introduce yourself sering kita jumpai saat awaal belajar bahasa inggris. Selain sering
materi ini juga sangat penting dalam belajar bahasa inggris. Dalam materi introduce yourself
pada tingkat sekolah dasar atau SD masi dalam tingkat dasar yaaitu meliputi nama, asal, dan
hobi.
