Cathal McNaughton is a Northern Irish Photo Journalist.

He has won a Pulitzer Prize for his

images of the mass exodus of the Rohingya people in Bangladesh and many more awards.
He came into North West Regional College to show the students his work and to help inspire
us to do our best. His work was very touching as it shows third world countries and children
scared, and a lot of the images main theme is grief, however he does show the world as it is
which is a very powerful statement as not everyone would be brave enough to travel to
these countries to show what is really going on. Here are some examples of his work:
