1. Describe how IKEA’s values and treatment of stakeholder contribute to its


ethical culture.

IKEA’s vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people. The business idea
supports this vision by offering a wide range of well-designed functional home
furnishing product at prices so low that many people as possible will be able to afford
them.
IKEA’s core value is leadership for example manager act according to IKEA’s principle
value, create an atmosphere of well-being and expect the same of IKEA’s co-workers.
Constant desire for renewed that adopting to customer demands with innovative
solution contributes to a better everyday life at house.
Togetherness and enthusiasm, the power to solve seemingly unsolvable problems we do
it all the time. Cost consciousness, low prices, are impossible without low cost, so we
proudly achieve good results with small resources, striving to meet reality, we stay true
to practical solution to develop ,improve& make decisions based upon reality.

2. What might be some of the ethical issues with IKEA’s complex form
organization?

EmploymentRecourses:
Area as low as the needs wrongful termination sexual harassment, decimation, invasion
of primary, wage & working hours etc.

Human Rights:
Freedom of speech, movement, political appreciation, assembly etc.
Environment Pollution:
Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy such as noise, heat & light.
E.g.: dumping of toxic chemicals

IKEA is of multinational company that is facing lot of ethical issues throughout global
market. The current issues that have become controversial issue is about human rights
&product right issue, spying on employees and environmental issues. IKEA recycles 87%
of its waste.

3. How does IKEA’s creation of the Swedish meat ball scandal demonstrate
effective crisis management?

The crisis for IKEA was not one of customer safety but of customer trust so the focus
was on developing the lost trust.
In IKEA the Czeach Republic horsemint was discovered in the famous IKEA Kottbullers
Swedish meatball, which are supposed to contain meat & pork.
Informal customers said that horse meat is not dangerous to consume.
As an international company when IKEA had a problem with meatball in the republics it
had an international problem because its brand and problem are well known all over it
is victim of its supply chain. So IKEA had some emulating to do.
