I. Objectives
To learn how cascade of flip-flops shifts a data to the following
flip-flop
II. Materials
4013 IC (D Flip Flop with Set and Clear)
Connecting Wires
4x LEDs
III. Circuit Diagram

IV. Procedures
1. Connect the circuit as shown
2. Connect LEDs at the output from QA and QD
3. Check if the output is correct in the truth table
V. Observation
We have observed that a shift register shares the same clock in
which the output of the data connects to the next flip-flop
resulting in a circuit that shift the data stored to it to the next.
