Responsibility : It is our responsibility to know how to manage our time efficiently.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Explain how to manage time efficiently. (knowledge)
2. Show pride when able to manage time efficiently. (socioemotional)
3. Practise good time management (action)
SUCCESS CRITERIA Pupils will be able
1. give 2 reasons why they chose to include the activities in the timetable
2. give 2 useful activities they normally do during the weekends
3. plan a timetable of useful activities during the weekends

ACTIVITIES Pre

Teacher writes “TIME MANAGEMENT” on the board and asks the pupils to discuss 2
ways on how to manage their time well with their partners. Pupils share with the class
and write the ways mentioned by the pupils on the whiteboard.

While

1. Teacher shows a pie chart of activities pupils usually do during weekends. Teacher
asks pupils which activities they normally do during weekends.
2. Teacher asks pupils to sit in a group and asks them to produce a personal timetable of
useful activities during the weekends.
3. Pupils make a timetable and list down the activities throughout the weekends on
mah-jong paper.
4. Each group put the mah-jong paper on the wall and pupils move around to compare
their answers with other groups. (Gallery Walk)
5.  Pupils (2) from each group will give 2 reasons why they chose to include the
activities in the timetable.
6. Pupils give peer feedback to each group during the Gallery Walk.
7. Teacher will also check pupils’ timetables and give feedback.

8. As a whole class, pupils will explain 2 consequences of poor time management.
