Flash Pitch: Big Ideas
(An idea pitching competition for Generation Y)

E-cell Impresario, the entrepreneurship club of ASB brings to you a Flash Pitch: Big Ideas (An
idea pitching competition for Generation Y), where participants need to come up with
innovative ideas in order to resolve social or economic problems of the country. The
participants will present their idea in front of the panellist and the best idea presenter will be
suitably rewarded.

Event name: Flash Pitch: Big Ideas (An idea pitching competition for Generation Y)

Date: 7th to 9th May, 2020

Learning Outcomes:
• Participants will be able to recognize and understand the economic and social issues
which would help to enhance their awareness.
• They will get an opportunity to exhibit their creative and innovative thinking to develop
a solution.
• Participants will be able to learn team coordination, presentation skills and
communication skills.

Event Details:

• The students can participate in teams or individually.

• Maximum number of participants in a team can be 2.
• The participants will get a problem relating to a sustainable development goal and they
must pitch their innovative solution to achieve that goal either through a PPT, video,
poster or a creative method.
• The participants will have to put their efforts to design a feasible idea keeping in mind
the realistic world issues.
• The impact of the current situation of pandemic on the sustainable development goals
can be highlighted in the pitch presentation.
 • Participants will get 2-3 minutes for putting forward their pitch.
• The participants will get the opportunity to pitch their ideas in front of a jury who will
judge them on different parameters.
• The sustainable problem will be given to the students at the time of registration.

Judgement Criteria:
The winners will be decided on the bases of four main criteria's:

• Innovation
• Feasibility
• Presentation
• Social and Economical implications

Registration fee:
• Rs. 200 per team.
• You can register as a team or as an individual.
