30 Style updates.

We have updated the following 30 often-used Styles with some subtle changes. Please note: the
sound and character of the styles have not been changed but certain items have been tweaked, as
described below, to improve the style. Overwriting the existing older style should present no
problem.
 
  
1) 54_SWING.STY – we improved the drum patterns, and added more drum fills.

2) BLUESET.STY – we adjusted the drum patterns, added piano patterns, and adjusted all
levels.

3) BOSSA2.STY – we fixed and adjusted the drum patterns, added more drum fills, and
adjusted all levels.

4) CLASSY.STY – We reduced the level of the Kik and Snare, lowered the level of the
strings a bit as well as adjusting all string parts. We also added more piano patterns.

5) J!TRAD.STY – we adjusted the drum patterns, increased the level of the Tuba, added
some banjo fills, and adjusted all endings.

6) J_BASIE.STY – we changed the drum patterns, reduced the level of the guitar comp, and
added more piano and brass patterns.

7) J_COMBO.STY – we added more drum fills, changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat, and
adjusted all drum patterns.

8) J_DIZZY.STY – We removed the Side-Stick at the ‘B’ sections, changed the HiHat to a
Pedal HiHat, reduced the swing % on the drum patterns, and added to the piano patterns.

9) J_DOLFIN.STY – We lowered the piano level at ‘B’ sections, changed the HiHat to a
Pedal HiHat, added bongos at ‘B’, lowered the Kik level, added piano/bass patterns, and
added more drum fills.

10) J_EVAN2H.STY – we added more drum fills, changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat, and
added extra piano and bass patterns.

11) J_EVANLH.STY – we adjusted all drum patterns, changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat,
added more left-hand jazz piano voicings, and adjusted the note range of the other piano
patterns.
12) J_HERBIE.STY - we adjusted all drum patterns, changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat,
added more jazz piano voicings and fills, and adjusted the note range of the other piano
patterns.

13) J_LIGHT.STY – we adjusted the drum patterns, added more drum patterns, reduced the
level of the Kik and Snare, and added more piano and bass patterns.

14) J_MDFAST.STY – we fixed up the drum patterns, changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat,
adjusted piano/bass patterns and added more patterns for each instrument.

15) J_NOPNO.STY – we adjusted the drum patterns, changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat,
changed the swing % on the drum patterns, and added to the bass patterns.

16) J_WYNT_K.STY – we reduced the levels of the Kik/Snare at the ‘A’ sections, changed
the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat, and added more piano patterns and fills.

17) J~BASBR.STY – we added more drum fills, changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat,
adjusted all drum patterns, reduced the level of the brush ‘sweep’ sound, and adjusted the
drum endings.

18) J~GITWLZ – we added more piano and bass patterns, and changed the HiHat to a Pedal
HiHat.

19) J~LAURA.STY – we added more drum fills, changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat,
reduced the swing% on all drum patterns, added a soft brush ‘sweep’, and added more
piano patterns and fills.

20) J~MONTY.STY – we added more piano patterns, lowered the level of the bass at ‘A’
sections, adjusted all drum patterns, and changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat.

21) JAZBAL1.STY – we added a quiet brush ‘sweep’ to the jazz brush drums, and added to
the piano patterns

22) JAZZFAST.STY - we reduced the level of the Kik and Snare, added a 2&4 pedal HiHat
part, added more drum fills, and adjusted all drum patterns.

23) J-EASY.STY – we reduced the level of the strings a little bit, and added to the piano,
bass and drum patterns.

24) JWLTZ2.STY – we modified the swing% of the drum patterns and added to the ‘B’
drum patterns, and added piano patterns using macro notes and 2-hand voicings.
25) L_JOBIM1.STY – we fixed and added to the drum patterns, added bass patterns, added
some piano patterns using jazz voicings and riffs, and added a 3rd voice to the string
patterns.

26) MOONRIVR.STY – we added a low string part (ala ’cellos) at the ‘A’ sections,
increased the level of the HiHat, added more drum patterns, changed the HiHat to a Pedal
HiHat, added more piano patterns, and adjusted the string parts at the ‘B’ sections.

27) WLZ_SLOW.STY – we added more piano patterns and fills, adjusted the string patterns,
added more drum fills, and changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat.

28) ZZJAZOLD.STY – we fixed the drum patterns, lowered the guitar levels, added to the
piano patterns and adjusted the bass patterns.

29) ZZJAZWAL – we decreased the level of the guitar at the ‘B’ sections, and added to the
piano, bass and drum patterns. Some pattern adjustments and fixes were made on all
instruments.

30) ZZJAZZ.STY – We added piano/bass patterns, removed the ‘2&4’ snare at the ‘A’
sections, changed the HiHat to a Pedal HiHat, and checked over all patterns for level
consistency.
