INTRODUCTION
I am studying the NESTLE Company focusing its Corporate Social Responsibility CSR)
challenge for the business in society as the assessment on analysing the sustainability
challenge for a business, ethical challenge for a business and, Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) challenge for a business.

Derashri and Panchasara (2018) claimed that the first process is to make best products for the
costumers while sustaining the consumers, so it is indispensable for business to effectively
manage consumer satisfaction that’s why the main aim of the product should be the
satisfaction of customer. For over one hundred and thirty years, NESTLE has been plateful
for this world because Nestle itself has targeted the health-conscious people while positioning
as health and nutrition’s company and has segregated itself through its high quality product
mix (Derashri and Panchasara, 2018).

The Nestle Company is a global brand, producing and distributing a myriad number as Nestle
has reported Sustainability or CSR Reports since 2002 (Nestle, 2013). Nestle was founded by
Henry Nestle who was a German pharmacist and Nestle company was founded in
Switzerland. Nestle currently sources 68% of the cocoa in its confectionary products from
sustainable sources, while just under half the cocoa it uses in all its cocoa-based products
comes from sustainable sources (Angel, 2019).Nestle is also one of the largest employers in
the world, with more than 300,000 employees working in 196 countries around the Earth
(Nestle, 2013). The complaints in the 1970’s were focused on distribution of infant formula
in impoverished areas of the world where infant breastfeeding was more appropriate and
safer for babies. (Krasny, 2012).
To identify the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) challenges for a NESTLE company
following frameworks are applied:

WATER: Galli and Vousvouras (2020) claimed that more than 150 years ago, water has been
a priority of natural supervision since its beginnings because every worth cable of NESTLE
traces has been touched by the water. However, the very new tactic called “the caring for
water initiative” which figures on the principle of water stewardship, concentrating on
communal accomplishment at the level of watershed has been followed up by the NESTLE
because water strategy built only on internal excellence which is limited has a great
influence, both from an operational and reputed viewpoint as NESTLE has realized this
impact.(Galli and Vousvouras, 2020).
