I. PROGRAM DESIGN
1.1 TITLE : ICT In Arts Day ( ArTechno Day)
1.2 THEME : “ Powering Change through Arts and Technology”
1.3 RATIONALE :
In the rapid changing world full of task burden activities, one needs an outlet to ease up the level of stress
they are going through. In relation to education, Senior High School Students needs to accomplish every
activities that their teachers required them to complete in able for them to pass the subject. There is no
doubt that every teacher’s goal is to create an individual that is competent enough to face the challenges
of the adult world. This aim seems to be abstract sometimes that they are putting pressure to the students.
In return, poor performance or poor quality on the projects that student submits. The main culprit for this
low performance is the high level of stress that we, teachers are giving to our students. What can we do to
help our students?, according to Elizabeth Scott in her article on vertwellmind.com, we need to take a
break from stress long enough to disrupt the body's stress response cycle, and then get back into the
action.
In this regard, Contemporary Arts teachers together with Media Information Literacy teachers
collaborated to come up with an event that will be aiming to bring about the creativity of the students
while having fun. It is timely that the final output of both subjects is about film production to lessen the
outputs that students required to accomplish teachers integrate the two subjects. To showcase the visual
art creativity of the students Arts teachers decided to exhibit students output to inspire the next batch of
Grade 12 students.
1.4 OBJECTIVES
By the end of the activity, Senior High School students of SCNHS will be able to :
1) To improve / enhance students’ personality and socialization.
2) To develop self-confidence and creativity among Senior High School Students.

Dear Madam,
Greetings! One of the goals of the K12 program was to promote creativity and cooperation among
students. In line with this, we, teachers of Contemporary Arts and Media and Information Literacy are
planning an integrated event which will showcase student’s abilities in terms of performing and visual arts.
We are planning to have a “Shorfilm Festival” and an “Art Exhibit” entitled ICT In Arts. If you will allow
us this will be happening on October 2 - 4, 2019. Participants will be ICT Students ( Grade 11 & Grade 12 )
and all students taking up MIL and Contemporary Arts subjects.
May we also ask for the help of Grade 10 and 11 pupils to be an audience on this activity to evaluate
the performance of the Grade 12 students and for them to be ascertain activities of the Senior High School
Department, may we also ask permission also to please allow us to collect ₱ 4.50. This will give students to
watch all the movies that Grade 12 students prepared. The said amount will be used as an additional fund of
the ICT organization. As per those who wants to have a glimpse on the Art Exhibit ₱ 3.00 will be collected
at the entrance door of the venue.
Every one of us is very excited about this event. We would like to request for your permission to
allow us to execute this activity. We would like to meet you in person in your most convenient time to
discuss our proposed school activity.

Greetings! Rapid evolution of today’s generation is very evident on the personalities that every
student exhibits. Technology plays vital role on the life of each individual from surfing the net for
assignments to socializing. Stressful situation is as well part of this generation, loaded by assignment,
projects, performance task in school, teen and family problem. Managing this stuff can really affect
individuals emotional, as well as psychological being of an individual. The number one solution of the
students to reduce the stress level offered on them day by day of their lives is playing on-line games.
School is an institution that is responsible for disciplining its students. Because of this, we implement
the no cellphone policy in accordance to DEPEd Memo. But this is an outlet for our students to reduce the
stress they are experiencing. Because of this matter teachers of ICT are proposing a solution while not
violating the DEPEd Memo. This is to give allotted time for them to play without restrictions. Timely, that
every year ICT department of SHS is having ICT day/s. In this regard we, teachers are planning to
incorporate this as one of its activity for this event.
