Social marketing beginnings
The initial point of social marketing is that due to the individual, organization and government
attempted to prevent, control, treatment different diseases and problems and improved individual
needs and safety. In addition to this, through different practices or activities like, family
planning, forest fire safety, crime prevention and methods and provision of health services the
social marketing idea or issue was emerged. The word social marketing was first announced by
scholars to define or describe the purpose of marketing principles and methods to and use of
social marketing concepts, instruments and activities has extend from public health and safety.
On the other hand from historical evidences that shows the first documented evidence to
addressed marketing as a social issue comes from around 1963s in the reproduced program that
included an integrated consumer marketing campaign run with active point of sales promotion.
Due to this the retailer were trained to sell the product seriously and new organization was
created to apply the program. As different scholars suggested the beginning of social marketing
as a discipline was in 1970s as an approach to planned social change in the journal of marketing
and the marketers have been playing with the social marketing ideas or issues ,improving the
strategies and doing on the most effectively to bring wide spread changes in social behavior in
different fields.
Social changing tools
Social change means a change or an alteration in the social order of a society. There are various
tools or instruments that brings social change, such as education, media, culture, technology and
information. Education plays a role to bring social change by changing the skill, knowledge and
attitude of the people or society. Culture is a tool or instrument to bring social change through
the invention and diffusion. Technology and information also plays a vital role in social change
by creating and widely extending new ideas.
Generally the central or main idea for the beginning of social marketing is through gradual
process due to the attempt or activities of government, organization and society to improve and
protect the welfare of the society and individual. And it has not universal idea about its
beginnings.social changing tools means an instruments or motivators or initiators or influences
that brings or enforces changes.
