Article Summary

Within Google Books, you can read, cite, download, and bookmark full books and
magazines. This wikiHow will teach you how you can read Google Books
on https://books.google.com/.
Steps
1.

1
Go to the classic Google Books website or the new one. You can use a mobile or web
browser to access information on books on Google.
2.

2
Search for a book or magazine's title, author, ISBN, or keywords. You'll find the
search bar across the middle of the page if you're using the classic site and across the
top of your browser if you're using the newer version of Google Books.
3.

3
Click a title. Select a book or magazine to download, cite, link, or translate.[1]
4.
4
Click  Read for free  or  Preview . If the entire book is available for you to read online
for free, you'll see Read for free', but you might find a book that only has a portion
available to you to read for free.
 You can also see which local libraries have that book that you can
borrow, either physically or digitally by looking under the "Borrow" section
header.
 You can click Download PDF if it's available. The link to download the
book will be under the book's title, but not every book has this option.
 If you click Add to my library, you'll also see the title in your Google
Play Books app under the "Library" tab.[2]
