SUMMARY:

1. References: a) Letter from BGEN ARCHIMEDES H VIAJE AFP (RET), MNSA

dated 24 February 2020

b) Radio Message from CGIF dated 09 March 2020

2. Per reference a, the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP), through its
Research and Special Studies Division (RSSD) is inviting the Philippine Coast Guard to
send two (2) officers to the 29th Executive Course on National Security (ECNS) from 30
March to 03 April 2020 at the NDCP Honor Hall, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon
City.

3. The said course is intended for executives and senior managers in the government
and private sector, Local Chief Executives (LCEs), and senior military police officers and aims
to provide these target participants a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice
of national security. It is designed to be rigorous, dynamic, and interactive utilizing a
combination of classroom-based lectures and learning events that provides the participants to
opportunity to engage scholars, experts, as well as top-level government and sectoral
leaders.

4. The Commander, CGIF strongly recommends CDR VINCENT S LACA PCG and
CDR JOHN PAUL E ASIS PCG to attend the ECNS.

5. In view thereof, CG-12 recommends the following:

a) Attendance of CDR VINCENT S LACA O-0459 PCG and CDR JOHN PAUL E
ASIS O-0531 PCG to the 29th Executive Course on National Security (ECNS) from
30 March to 03 April 2020 at the NDCP Honor Hall8op, Camp General Emilio
Aguinaldo, Quezon City; and

b) CG-1 to issue appropriate orders.
