PICTURES DURING OUR SUMMER TRAINING ACTIVITY

The BSP Trainees were reciting the Scout Ideals which served as their test.
 The BSP Senior Scouts Staff demonstrated the types of carry during the joint lectures.

The BSP Senior Scouts Staff also taught the trainees about the types of bandages in performing
first aid.
 We, the BSP Senior Scouts Staff had a meeting together with a BSP Alumnus, Lawrence
Sagaral. We consulted him about our plans for the next school year and asked him some tips in
the fields of leadership.

3 days were allotted for the joint lectures and activities of the 3 organizations (BSP, GSP and
CAT). As shown in the picture, the trainees were blindfolded as they perform tasks and pass
through obstacles.
As a bravery test, each trainee underwent through the trust fall. In this task, a blindfolded trainee
would be pushed from the top of the stage but there would be several people who would catch
him/her afterwards.

On the last day, the trainees applied all of the things they had learned during the past days.
After 6 days of training, the BSP Senior Scouts Staff ranked the BSP trainees according to their
performance. Jean Mikhail Mendiola, an incoming Grade 8 student, ranked first. As a price for
his efforts, he was awarded a new neckerchief that he could use in the following school years.

On the last day, this photo was taken. It served as a memory for the bonds formed between the
BSP Senior Scouts Staff and our BSP Trainees this year.
 On the last day, we had this photo taken together with other BSP Alumni. We also consulted
them about our activities next school year and asked them about our needed requirements. Their
visit was worthwhile because they gave us advises about Scouting and told us about the true
essence of leadership and responsibility.
